SR. PROJECT MANAGER / A/E CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATOR


PS&S is seeking a Sr. Project Manager with 15-20 plus years’ experience leading construction projects. Candidates must be able to demonstrate their ability to work with A/E/C team to manage projects with total construction values exceeding $25 million. Seeking a Director level gas engineer overseeing pipeline design in our Warren, NJ headquarters.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Candidates must have “hands on” understanding and technical background working with gas distribution and transmission pipelines, pipeline engineering, pipeline construction and budgetary oversight of pipeline and related natural gas projects.
  • Expertise in environmental and regulatory aspects of gas pipeline design.

The Mechanical Designer works on various projects as assigned by a Project Manager of Lead Designer. This individual plays a role in the entire design process including but not limited to preliminary assessments, concept creation, design, and problem resolution.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops design concepts; prepares documents during design development phase. Corrects and updates design documents. Develops solutions to design problems.

Willingness to travel periodically to other PS&S’ offices, clients’ offices, supplier facilities, and project site locations is expected.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop Electrical deliverables for all phases of a project including: conceptual design, preliminary design, and detailed design.
  • Develop the design of medium and low voltage facility power distribution systems from the electric utility interface point.
  • Develop the design of emergency and uninterruptable power generation and distribution systems.
  • Develop the design of miscellaneous Electrical systems such as lighting, grounding, electrical heat tracing, fire alarm, public address, security, card access, etc.
  • Develop typical Electrical engineering and design drawings such as: single line diagrams; power, lighting, grounding, fire alarm, and other systems plans; electrical area classification plans; electrical equipment arrangement plans; cable tray layout plans and sections; conduit and cable schedules; motor control schematics.

ARCHITECT III (Intermediate Level)


PS&S’s Architecture Studio has a growing Science & Technology (Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology; labs, manufacturing, and offices) practice. We are looking to fill an “Architect III” intermediate position in our Science & Technology in PS&S’s Warren, New Jersey office location.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Report to Senior Project Manager and Vice President of Architecture.
  • Work as part of collaborative integrated A/E teams.
  • Develop architectural design documentation from Basis of Design through Construction Docs.
  • Assess the requirements of a project, break a project into tasks, and work with a Project Manager to identify work scope, project budget, and resource requirements.
  • Experience in Laboratory planning preferred.
  • Experience with advanced technology industry projects preferred such as R&D Labs, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, food & nutrition and/or consumer products.
  • Knowledge of cGLP/cGMP/FDA regulatory understanding preferred.
  • Work with Revit BIM models, AutoCAD 2D drawings, and related design documentation.
  • Experience in project specification outline generation.

  • Develop architectural designs and carry them through design documentation.

WATER RESOURCES ENGINEER


Seeking a Water Resources Engineer; Position based out of our Warren, NJ headquarters.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work on water/wastewater treatment and conveyance projects including: process evaluations, detailed design and construction administration.
  • Assist with preparation of reports/findings, plans, specifications, cost estimates and contract documents monitor and document project progress.
  • Report to project manager.
  • Client interaction skills including participation in client meetings and field interaction with clients and preparation/conducting presentations.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering.
  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in water resources field.

Seeking an experienced individual to join our growing team of GIS professionals in our Warren, NJ headquarters.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supporting a multi-disciplinary team of specialist in a variety of geospatial tasks including: mapping support consisting of many different work products, geospatial analysis and data modeling, data digitizing, data acquisition, data classification, database development and maintenance, etc.
  • Working directly with clients, ensuring that data quality and cartographic standards are consistently met.
  • Designing, customizing, maintaining web-based mapping solutions.
  • Staff development and training.
  • Designing and maintaining field mobile GIS solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geography/GIS/Cartography or an equivalent field
  • 5+ years experience and a solid proficiency in using the latest Esri ArcGIS suite of products, including extensions
  • Must be fluent in Microsoft Office Applications (including Access and Excel)
  • Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD applications
