Instrumentation & Controls EngineerThis mid-level engineering position requires experience in specifying instrumentation and controls for chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. Must have ability and experience producing loop diagrams and wiring schematics using AutoCAD. Familiarity with instrumentation used in pharmaceutical production facilities is required. Candidate should be familiar with GMP requirements, GAMP and 21 CFR Part 11 for pharmaceutical facilities as well as ANSI/ISA-88 for batch process control. Successful candidate will work interactively with PS&S Lead Process Engineer and Project Electrical Engineer. Understanding of ladder logic desirable (position does not require programming). Process EngineerWe are looking for a process engineer with 5-10 years of experience and a BS in Chemical Engineering. A PE license is preferred. The candidate shall have strong communication skills and be able to interact with clients and end users. The candidate must also have familiarity with process equipment and expertise in the chemical, biological and pharmaceutical industries. The candidate shall have process design experience, problem solving capabilities, modeling capabilities and experience in equipment evaluation, selection and specification. Reference: 0103
Senior Process EngineerWe are looking for a senior process engineer with 10-15 years of experience with a BS in Chemical Engineering. A PE license is required. The candidate shall have strong communication skills and be able to interact with clients and end users. The candidate must also have familiarity with process equipment and expertise in the chemical, biological and pharmaceutical industries. The candidate shall have process design experience, problem solving capabilities, modeling capabilities and experience in equipment evaluation, selection and specification. Piping DesignerThis position is responsible for providing Piping Design for pharmaceutical and specialty chemical projects. Specific duties include:
- Design/drafting of process piping systems and related equipment.
- Field surveys to document existing conditions for related design work and for record.
- Effective coordination of piping documents and design issues with project managers and other design disciplines.
- Develop project-specific piping specifications.
- Answer requests-for-information (RFI) from fabrication shops during pipe fabrication and from Contractors during construction.
- Develop, review and provide feedback on new and revised in-house standard specifications related to the Piping discipline.
- Evaluate new technology regarding vendor supplied items, including valves, gaskets, and fabrication / construction methods.
- Experience in the use of AutoCAD software. Revit and/or Microstation CAD software experience highly desirable.
- 3 years or greater experience in 3D design.
- Familiar in Piping Codes, including ASME (BPE), API, ASTM and other applicable codes.
- Experienced and detailed knowledge of pipe design, fabrication, and installation of pharmaceutical and chemical process systems.
- Must be capable of working on multiple projects and tasks at one time.
- Good communication skills including demonstrated interaction with user/client groups.
- Associates technical degree in piping related studies, 10+ years of experience.
