Construction Manager
Position Located in Garden City, NY Office.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
The Construction Manager will be in charge of contracts on large, complex water and or wastewater treatment plant upgrade projects. The successful candidate will be a proven leader and highly experienced (minimum fifteen years) CM professional with an active PE, or with the ability to obtain such license quickly through reciprocity, and have experience in leading the construction management of large, complex projects involving reinforced concrete, site dewatering, pile foundations, heavy mechanical and electrical construction. In depth knowledge of all aspects of current CM practice and supporting disciplines is a requirement. Experience in scheduling and change order management is required. The candidate must have proven leadership qualities and be an excellent communicator. Experience in conflict and dispute resolution, and defense of construction claims is a plus.
Other Requirements: BS Degree Civil Engineering or related field; listed as CCM in Certified Construction Manager Registry is a plus; Professional Engineering License (PE) in New York; 15+ years of experience managing construction projects, including large, complex wastewater/water treatment plant projects in excess of $20M.
