Emily T. Cooperman, MS, PhD
Senior Architectural Historian
Emily is a Senior Architectural Historian based in the Cherry Hill office. She joined PS&S’ Cultural Resources team in 2017. Emily has nearly three decades of experience in the field and is an expert in identifying and evaluating the historical significance of buildings and landscapes. She has assisted many private and public sector clients in meeting their project goals by complying successfully with Cultural Resource regulations at the local, state, and federal levels. Emily’s expertise includes conducting historic resource surveys for local planning and creating historical designations to enable future funding streams for preservation of important sites. Emily earned an MS in Historic Preservation and a PhD in History of Art and Architecture with a concentration in both architectural and landscape history from the University of Pennsylvania.
