With more than 40 years of experience providing geotechnical engineering, PS&S has a diverse range of services extending from field and laboratory investigations to analysis and recommendations required for deep and shallow foundations, settlement, permeability, slope stability, flood control levees and, if required ground improvement programs.
Our engineering capabilities are uniquely augmented by our in-house geotechnical testing laboratory and our expertise with geophysical techniques, including field resistivity testing. We also have extensive experience with problematic site conditions, enabling us to address problematic geotechnical issues such as potential liquefaction, settlement, soil collapse and the development of ground improvement measures. Our engineering capabilities also extend to field services that include subsurface investigations and construction observation and documentation.
PS&S’s Geotechnical Department has also developed expertise in landfill closure design, brownfield redevelopment and forensic geotechnical investigations.
