PS&S was brought in to develop a phased approach, overall landscape master plan for a pharmaceutical site that could tie all the elements of the facility together through a central park.
In order to develop a master plan that will both address existing campus infrastructure as well as proposed future development of the campus, the project will require a thorough combination of integral efforts from all teams involved – the client’s team, landscape architects, site engineers, MEPF engineers, and the building architects.
THE PS&S SOLUTION
The design of the initial elements of this overall master plan includes a significant pedestrian walkway through the central core of the site. This walkway will provide an initial visible element that will ultimately provide the framework of the pedestrian pathways through the central landscaped area.
The landscape master plan is being developed and constructed in phases as the areas of the campus are redeveloped to provide connectivity for the campus through the functional villages. The phased approach to the landscape master plan will require the development of meaningful initial elements that become an integral part of the overall vision for the campus during future and final phases.
