Paulus, Sokolowski and Sartor (PS&S) provided total design for this 50,000 sf facility. Services included Architecture, M/E/P, Structural, Civil/Site, Geotechnical and Environmental Permitting.
PS&S provided site planning and a regulatory constraint assessment at the site of a biotechnical facility. Constraints to development included the presence of a floodplain and tidal wetlands on the site. The project area is within a State agency planning area, and certain natural resources present on the site are regulated by other State and Federal agencies.
PS&S guided the client through the site planning process, and was able to find the most effective design solution with the lowest “regulatory footprint”. The efforts resulted in a successful LEED certified building. PS&S delineated wetlands on the site, performed environmental compliance and geotechnical studies, and prepared applications for local and State permitting.
