Web-based Project Management
Paulus, Sokolowski and Sartor (PS&S) offers project management and interactive mapping in a secure web-based environment for our clients. Our web-based sites are set up to host the full range of project data from a large project in a searchable and permission based environment for the length of the project term.
Our sites support all file types and are fully customizable based on the project team and management access permissions. The sites feature not only quick and easy access to data but also host project contacts and an interactive project calendar, file share, and a project specific Mapper. Project contacts and the interactive project calendar can easily be downloaded into Microsoft Outlook for offline use. File share eliminates last minute overnight packages and allows for quick FTP file transfer of large files without file limitation.
The project specific Mapper accesses project data in mapped form. Any spatial data can be added to the Mapper for the project. Because the Mapper is so easy to use, information that before was accessible only to GIS and CAD professionals is now available to the entire project team. Our Mapper can display environmental constraints, topography, tax map data, proposed and existing land use, proposed vertical developments, sampling data, etc. Users have quick zoom functionality for main project areas, full zoom controls, map tools which include buffering, printing, copying the map view, identifying a feature, measuring, data sheets and parcel searches, redline tools for quick drawing, and a full range of help features.
Please contact our GIS group for access to a sample web-based project management project site.
