Geotechnical Services
The scope of PS&S' Geotechnical Engineering services encompasses geotechnical field and laboratory investigations, development of foundation design and site preparation criteria, slope stability analysis, landfill designs and closure plans, preparation of geotechnical-related technical specifications, and construction phase engineering services. PS&S operates and maintains a modern, fully equipped geotechnical laboratory to facilitate its in-house engineering services. The laboratory offers a full range of testing from simple identification tests to sophisticated strength, consolidation and permeability testing.
PS&S' unique blend of in-house multi-disciplinary permitting and design phase services has enabled the firm to participate in a number of major, complex brownfield and landfill redevelopment projects. As a result, PS&S has developed the technical expertise and experience needed to deal with problematic and challenging site conditions.
