John Sartor, PE
President and CEO
Strategic engineering and design executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience guiding multidisciplinary architecture, engineering, environmental, and energy consulting services. As President & CEO of PS&S, a 300+ employee professional services firm operating across the North and Southeast, Mr. Sartor provides enterprise-level leadership overseeing corporate strategy, operational performance, and long-term market positioning. His leadership focuses on aligning technical excellence with strategic growth while advancing sustainable development, renewable energy, and complex redevelopment initiatives.
Mr. Sartor provides executive leadership for PS&S, a multidisciplinary engineering and architecture firm serving public and private sector clients across the Northeast and Southeast. In addition, he oversees corporate strategy, operational performance, financial stewardship, and long-term growth initiatives. Mr. Sartor expanded firm capabilities through development of specialized practices including the Renewable Energy Group and Sustainable Development Group. He leads the firm’s Management Committee and participates on the Business Development Committee to align market strategy with emerging infrastructure, redevelopment, and sustainability opportunities. A graduate of Duke University with a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering (1992), Mr. Sartor later earned Master's Degrees from Stevens Institute of Technology in Environmental Engineering (1995), Civil Engineering (1999), and Construction Management (2003). Mr. Sartor is a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New Jersey and Delaware. He currently serves as Board Treasurer for New Jersey SHARES, Board Treasurer for the Iron Girl Project, member of the Duke University Pratt School of Engineering Board of Visitors and the Duke University Climate & Sustainability Engineering Master of Engineering Industry Advisory Board.
