New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) - New Good Neighbor Award

The Wesmont Station project located in Wood-Ridge, NJ and is a 125 acre property that accounts for more than 20% of the land area of the Borough of Wood-Ridge. This project recieved the New Good Neighbor Award for its improvements to the local community.

New Jersey Business & Industry Association (NJBIA) - New Good Neighbor Award

The HARTZ MOUNTAIN: Cummins & Preferred Freezer Facilities located in the Town of Kearny, NJ won the NJBIA New Good Neighbor award.

American Society of Civil Engineers New Jersey Section (ASCE-NJ)

Patricia Ruskan, PE, Vice President won ASCE-NJ Section Civil Engineer of the Year Award for 2019.

New Jersey Alliance for Action (NJAFA)

Two PS&S projects were awarded the New Jersey Alliance for Action “2018 Distinguished Engineering Award.” The projects are the iPark Mixed-Use Development in Edgewater and the Former Harrison Avenue Landfill Redevelopment in Kearny. Two PS&S Projects Awarded by NJAFA

School Planning & Management (SP&M) and College Planning & Management (CP&M)

PS&S was awarded Honorable Mention Winner 2018 Education Design Showcase by the School Planning & Management (SP&M) and College Planning & Management (CP&M) Education Design Showcase for P.S. 583 The Bronx Lab School for Historical Discovery.

The American Council of Engineering Companies of New Jersey (ACECNJ)

PS&S was recognized with the Distinguished Award in Engineering Excellence at the ACECNJ’s 47th Engineering Excellence Awards Banquet. The honor was awarded for PS&S's work providing design and engineering services for the renovation and addition to building B9 at Bristol-Myers Squibb’s Hopewell, NJ campus. The project consisted of 40,000sf of renovations and a 13,000sf addition to an existing R&D laboratory building. Along with architecture and mechanical, electrical, and piping design, PS&S also provided the geotechnical reporting and the structural engineering. The project is an example of architectural and engineering design that is “inspired by the science."

New Jersey Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (NJASLA)

PS&S’s work for “AVE at Florham Park,” recently received a Merit Award from the NJASLA in the Landscape Architectural Site Design category.

The “AVE at Florham Park” is a 265 unit flexible-stay rental community situated on 11 acres on the former home of Exxon’s engineering division in Florham Park, NJ. Craig Cartmell was the project lead for our Landscape Architecture team which provided schematic design through construction administration and project close out for the latest development at The Green at Florham Park, a 268-acre master-planned development.

The American Institute of Architects (AIA)

PS&S is pleased to announce that our Bronx School project, designed for the NYC School Construction Authority, received a 'Gold' design award at the AIA Newark & Suburban 2017 Design Awards competition. The design awards were presented at an AIA reception held on September 14th at Kean University’s Michael Graves School of Architecture in Union, New Jersey.

New Jersey Alliance for Action (NJAFA)

PS&S was honored to be recognized with three Distinguished Engineering Awards at the New Jersey Alliance for Action's Distinguished Engineering Awards program on October 20th.  Hundreds of millions of dollars of engineering investments were recognized for making New Jersey safer, cleaner and a better place to live and work.
