| Dear Friends of PS&S:
I want to take a moment to reflect on what has been a season of meaningful impact and growth at PS&S. From international partnerships to local initiatives, our team has remained focused on advancing innovation while strengthening the culture that defines us.
One highlight was our sponsorship of a drinking water project in El Paraisito, Nicaragua, in partnership with Green Empowerment. This initiative will provide clean, reliable water to nearly 100 families and underscores our belief in using our resources and expertise to improve lives both locally and globally.
Closer to home, we expanded our technical depth with the addition of a specialized process engineering office in Allentown, PA. This addition strengthens our services in life sciences, pharmaceuticals, and food industries and enables us to deliver more integrated and compliant solutions to our clients.
We also had the chance to come together outside the office, with summer outings ranging from bowling nights in Yonkers and Warren to a Phillies game in Cherry Hill and a BlueClaws game in Wall. These gatherings gave our employees opportunities to connect across offices and celebrate the teamwork that drives our success.
And this October, our PS&S Cares team will once again participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. This annual tradition reflects our commitment to giving back and supporting causes that matter deeply to our employees and communities.
Looking ahead, we are energized to carry this momentum into the last half of the year. Thank you to our clients and partners, your continued trust allows us to pursue innovation, deliver excellence, and build stronger communities together. Thank you for being part of the PS&S community. |
John A. Sartor, PE President & Chief Executive Officer |
At PS&S, we believe our responsibility as designers and engineers extends beyond the projects we deliver to our clients; it includes contributing to the health, safety, and well-being of communities in need. That’s why we are proud to sponsor a new drinking water initiative in the village of El Paraisito, Nicaragua, in partnership with the nonprofit Green Empowerment.
Located in Nicaragua’s “dry corridor,” El Paraisito’s 300 residents have long relied on distant and unreliable wells, placing both health and time burdens on families. Through this project, nearly 100 households will gain safe and dependable access to clean water via a new community-managed micro-utility. Key components of the system include: - A machine-drilled well with an electric pump
- A gravity-fed distribution pipeline
- Filtration and chlorination treatment
- A storage tank and a two-mile network of pipes
- Metered household connections for every family
Just as important as the infrastructure itself is the long-term sustainability of the system. Community members will receive training to maintain the equipment, and a local water committee will be established to oversee operations and set a fair monthly tariff, ensuring the project remains reliable for years to come.
This effort reflects PS&S' mission to use our resources and expertise to advance public health and environmental stewardship. By supporting this initiative, we are proud to stand alongside partners who share our vision for building stronger, more resilient communities, whether locally or globally. |
At PS&S, we know that clients in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and food industries face unique challenges, from cleanroom compliance to complex process utilities. That’s the role of process engineering: designing and optimizing the systems that support clean manufacturing, regulatory compliance, hygienic processing, and critical utilities.
With the addition of a specialized process engineering team in Allentown, PA, we are now positioned to deliver even greater value on your projects. What this means for you:
Integrated expertise — process engineering seamlessly combined with architecture, engineering, and environmental services. Smarter solutions — efficient designs that support GMP compliance, bioprocess systems, and sterile product flows.
Local and responsive support — an expanded presence in Eastern Pennsylvania to better serve regional and national clients. By strengthening our process engineering capabilities, PS&S can deliver end-to-end solutions that not only build facilities but also ensure the processes inside them are safe, compliant, and effective. |
Strikes, Dugouts & Summer Fun at PS&S |
This summer, employees across PS&S came together for a series of outings that brought plenty of fun, camaraderie, and shared memories. No matter which office you call home, everyone was welcome to join in the activities, and many took advantage of the chance to connect with colleagues from other locations.
Bowling Nights – Our Yonkers & Warren Offices hit the lanes for evenings of friendly competition, laughter, and plenty of strikes (and a few gutter balls too!). Phillies Game – The Cherry Hill office cheered on the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park, enjoying a night of baseball, food, and team spirit.
BlueClaws Outing – The Wall office gathered at a Jersey Shore BlueClaws game, taking in America’s pastime with coworkers, snacks, and summer vibes. These events highlight the strong culture and teamwork that drive our success, both in and out of the office.

This October, our PS&S Cares team will once again participate in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Point Pleasant Beach, NJ. Each year, our employees come together to raise awareness and support breast cancer patients, survivors, and research.
This tradition is an important part of our culture of giving back, and we’re proud to continue walking and fundraising for a cause that impacts so many lives. |
